Highways and Access

Our proposals – development East of St Peter’s Road, West Lynn

Safe and suitable vehicle access via a new junction will be provided to the south of the site via St Peter’s Road. We recognise the relationship between the site access, Cherry Tree Lane and the nearby layby and our design will enable appropriate on-street car parking to continue for people using the church and local facilities. Our proposals include a new pedestrian route in the north eastern corner of the site, which will link into Samphire Place to enable residents safe and convenient access to the local shops and school located in West Lynn. There will also be direct access to the footpath running along the top of the river defences to promote health and well-being. This site has been designed to be highly accessible on foot and by bicycle. The area is served by local bus routes running every hour to Kings Lynn, Spalding and Holbeach and the passenger ferry runs to Kings Lynn every 15 minutes.
